Build Muscle The Right Way And Sustain It

Before starting on a programme on how to gain muscle, it is essential to know its meaning. Muscle is nothing but the tissue in our bodies which give us the required power to move in different ways. As bodybuilders, we are more interested in the skeletal muscle. What are the routines that we can do to enhance our bodies and gain muscle?It is important to note that each person has a different body mass.
By trying to follow body building magazines, we will not be able to obtain the body that we want. We have to approach the whole process in a different way. That is, a way which is suitable and beneficial for us at the same time. The approach you should take on how to gain muscle, is in different stages and are outlined in the diverse steps to be followed.

1) Get Tougher:You have to exercise your muscles in order to strengthen them. This calls for weight training. You can start off with light weights and then, keep adding them progressively. The idea is, to get out of the comfort zone. If you think that you can handle a particular weight with ease, then it's time to add some more.
2) Use Free weights:It is always better to use the barbell or dumbbell to build muscles rather than using machines. Free weights are safe as they use the body's natural motions. They are also efficient, as they require you to balance and control the weight and this helps in building more muscle. They are also functional and versatile.

3) Compound Routines:These exercises, makes the use of multiple muscles at the same time. This is essential, when you are going to start building muscles. Pull ups and chin ups make you lift your own body weight. They are the best strength workouts for the upper body and muscle mass. Barbell rows, is another technique which will strengthen your upper-back, lower-back, lats and traps. The bench press is among the most popular body building technique, which helps in building muscle and strength at the same time.

 This exercise allows you to build your upper body. It also makes use of the front shoulder muscles and triceps. Another routine which is beneficial for gaining muscle is the overhead press. It gives a workout to thewhole body. All the shoulder heads are given an equal workout. Dips are another set of routines that imparts stress on your upper body and thereby builds muscle.
4) Leg Training:Squats are an important part of your muscle gaining programme. They also exercise the whole body.

5) Full Body Workouts:Your exercise routine should include squats, dead lifts, barbell rows, bench press, dips etc. This would provide an opportunity for the whole body to get a workout.
6) Recovery: A beginner needs more time to recuperate from the exercise programs undertaken. Adequate sleep, rest, food and plenty of water to drink, are a must.

7) Type of Foods:Your diet should contain adequate proteins, carbs, vegetable, fats and fruits. The vitamins and mineral content in them will help you recover much faster.
8) Weight Gain: Eat more to increase your weight. Meals should also be spaced evenly throughout the day. Your diet should also contain, protein. They are important in helping you maintain and build body muscle.
The routines mentioned, will indeed help you in gaining muscle. But the most important factor to consider is, persistence. Do not give up.
